Originally was just a sketch I made of an elderly man I had thought of while I was in Dominican Republic.
From what I recall even when I was much younger
he always had to carry up and down the hill from my house water to get to his family so they could cook and clean...
He did this all the way up to his mid 60's or 70’s.
The last time I saw him he was without a shirt and rather than his usual two buckets of water he was only with one...
This was my showing his strength and determination.
