this painting came about different emotions and thoughts. at the time where i began the concept a dear aunt of mine was going expecting to have a child. with in the week where i began and completely my piece she has a miscarriage. it was simply devastating . the pastel pink, and fuchsia inspired colors representing the heat of a mothering soul. the unborn child pure in soul was in a canary yellow carried by the peaceful elements of water. i wanted to have a new twist in how i painted the ora and halo of the child so i used a mixed of various yellows and green to surround the body.. the two never connect but always strive. ..
