I've been dormant but my passion has been reawakened,
I am an up and coming artist, and designer im interested in all facets of the arts.
I believe in art.
I believe its beauty and its power can enrich and transform lives.
I also believe that art is capable of engaging and encouraging the inner spirit.
I am inspired by my faith in God,
Bright colors and a desire to encourage people through art that speaks directly to the heart.

I have walked in the shoes of vulnerability and have gained my strength by sharing my stories.
I also have a deep interest in rich music such as rumba, salsa, bachata, boleros, and musica’ vieja...
I truly admire artist such as Jose Feliciano, Hector Lavoe, La Lupe, and Willie Colon.
 
Other than my painting I am usually involved in some kind of artistic project. I love music deeply!   I was at one of my favorite taverns with a few friends and saw this on a t-shit... I thought it was flying... Actually made me think of my older brother...  but makes a lot of sense ... "GOD is a DJ... And life if simply the dance floor"

I read a ton, about nearly everything- I love good literature but I read a lot of nonfiction work, from history to philosophy and everything in between. I write a lot, short stories and poetry.  I love to learn, about all that I can in life.  When I read it opens doors and floods me with new ideas and sparks my creativity... most of my work relate to my life... i share stories behind each one.... i am inspired by my heritage.. My African roots..... It’s a beautiful thing that I carry with me... and want to share with the world.  I relate more to working with abstracts and vibrant colors, because life isn’t a cookie cut black and white.....

I want my paintings to be a vehicle that transfers u & your imagination 2 a deeper and meaningful place. My work is about faith, creation, spirit, peace, nature, love, discovery, acceptance, change and challenge, I paint what I feel and know... my first focus of style were of my reflections of my roots and of religious portraits.  Along with personal experience i incorporate sarcasm; satires, irony, and surrealism into my work I feel give it an interesting edge.
  
I hope to send a message hidden for one to think about and obvious at times just with the hopes of leaving the admirer wondering while constantly discovering something new. I paint with passion and write from the heart... It’s all I know...
